    Jon Medina (CO)

    Creative Director and visionary behind Beacon Denver, Jon Medina shaped the venue’s signature aesthetic — from the Willow Weave Bar and Dance Floor Under a Cloud to the Backyard Oasis. His immersive design approach has left an unforgettable mark on Denver’s creative landscape.

    Builder and craftsman, James Medina partnered with his brother Jon to bring Beacon’s artistic vision to life. From large-scale installations to intricate details, James’s hand is present in nearly every creative build-out inside the venue.

  • Aleesha Anderson, California-based artist and creator of the Hive Mind installation at Beacon

    Aleesha Anderson (CA)

    A vibrant California-based fabricator, Aleesha Anderson is the creator of Trip to the Hive Mind, an interactive installation inspired by nature’s collective intelligence. Her playful approach to design merges movement, color, and imagination.

    Designer and fabric artist, Sidney Connell envisioned the Celestial Stardust Wagon — a cosmic, reflective space for guests to lounge and connect. Her work blends soft materiality with interdimensional storytelling.

  • Jesse Rathod of NueShok Studio, lighting designer behind the LED cloud at Beacon

    Nueshok Studio (CO)

    Founded by Jesse Rathod, NueShok Studio specializes in experiential lighting design. Their kinetic LED “cloud” installation above Beacon’s dance floor transforms sound into motion, immersing guests in rhythm and color.

    Architect and founder of Track Architecture, Patrick McMichael focuses on adaptive reuse and sustainable design. His work at Beacon repurposed historic materials to create new life within the venue’s architectural shell.

  • Corvus Design Build team, creators of Beacon’s reclaimed mahogany Communal Table

    Corvus Design Build (CO)

    Architectural metal work company; a team of Jacob Uhl and Sam Fletcher. These two fabricators created the Communal Table using 140-year-old box car reclaimed mahogany wood. This is located next to the Wilow Weave Bar.

    Created by Andy Blair, Mood Swings is a steel stroboscopic 3d zoetrope. Precisely timed strobe lights and a rotating sculpture create a confounding optical illusion, creating stop-motion animation in real life. Andy's zoetropes aim to invoke the beauty of motion and Sisyphean pursuits.

    One of the collaborating artists of SOL - a unique take on the disco ball, located next to the DJ Booth. Recreated using Nikoli Teslas sacred method numbers of 3, 6 & 9. They aim to animate the capacity for community to be inspired and to shine and reflect upon one another.

    An Interior designer, Alejandra Serna, created the Mirror Waterfall with support from Drennan Flava. This installation mimics the function of a disco ball, capturing and refracting images and light around the DJ Booth.

Beacon’s Collective of Artists

Beacon’s installations were created by a diverse team of Colorado and national artists whose work spans sculpture, architecture, sound, and light design. Together, they’ve built a destination where Denver’s creative community, and visitors from everywhere, can connect through immersive art.
